Well as the blog title suggests, I'm now 40 years old and thought I'd try something new. Blogging may not be the equivalent of going for a bungee jump but it's difficult enough for me. And who knows what I'll do tomorrow... ;-)
Strange few weeks lately. Just trying to remember "what's the point" and actually maybe I have got it after all. Despite an odd Christmas, with poorly relatives, difficult exs
[exes? previous partners anyway] and even poorly pets. I'm sure that 'the point' is clearly my son - he's more than happy with this dad and the new girlfriend, but that doesn't mean he's not happy when he's with me. You don't know me but this is a MAJOR step forward for me just now!! Confidence has been poor but I think I'm on the up. being 40 hasn't really triggered the problem with my confidence but I don't suppose it's helped.
Anyway. I may be 40 but the key thing is I'm not out yet! So that's more positive that I think I have been for years. And blogging gives me a way of writing a diary without actually writing a diary if you see what I mean...
Seen my folks today and they are doing okay. They are on the up too. So maybe 2011 is going to be my year....!
so blogging is the new hobby. at least for a little while anyway - I'm not that sure how it all works tbh, but I'll give it a bash. :-)
